Transmute are back for another release.

‘Stars’

Part of the new wave of German jungle innovators holding the standard for
deep and ruff music in 2007, Cycom delivers a pair of bombs that cross borders,
finding a place in the boxes of selectors ranging from Flight (1xtra, Metalheadz)
to Fracture & Neptune (Bassbin) to Alley Cat (Skunk Rock, ESP). ‘Stars’ sees
frenetic toppling drums allied to taut noir sounscapes, played against the
relentless but groove-laden counterpoint of one serious double bass lick

‘Kickflip’

On the flip, Cycom conjours the ghost of Advance-era Total Science, perfectly
demonstrating the art of the layered roller, 2001 style. Muffled vocal tics and
paranoid synths complement darkside technoid pulses before the whole tune
switches pace at the the command of the outlander and amen combo. Pure
black ice. Once again, Transmute pull out all the stops to showcase yet another
heavyweight 12″
